Titan Flow Controls Model YS 12-DI y strainer is a Ductile Iron strainer that ranges in size from 1/4 inch - 3 inches. The strainer body material is lead free and the strainer capabilities provide large straining capacity (2.5 times the pipe width). The YS12 provides great open area ratios when it comes to it's straining capacity. This model can be fitted with a NPT connection that allows for self-cleaning. The Titan YS12-DI is typically installed in piping systems to remove debris downstream from pumps, meters, nozzles, turbines, etc. They can run horizontal or vertical in nature.
