The Mepco diaphragm actuated thermostatic steam trap, model TH1C, features a 1/2" trap connection in an angle pattern. This thermostatic trap is ideal for high pressure heating systems. The thermostatic element expands when steam is present, closing the trap, and contracts when cooler air or condensate is present, opening the trap, which allows the condensate to drain. The TH1C has a cast bronze body, a 125 psi maximum operating pressure, and a capacity of 2,600 pounds per hour.
